This full-day, 300-kilometre (186-mile) round trip operates between December and April.
Your day begins with collection from your Vancouver accommodation. In one of our spacious SUVs, we’ll head north out of Vancouver and onto the famous Sea-to-Sky Highway – one of Canada’s most iconic stretches of roadway.
After journeying through miles of pristine, wild British Columbia scenery, it’s time to get out and explore! You will get to visit two of our favourite waterfalls (Shannon and Alexander).
The walking trails that take us to the two waterfalls each possess their own distinct style and charm, but you can rest assured that you will see British Columbia at its majestic best.
In months that snow is present, you will snowshoe to the waterfalls (snowshoes provided – suitable for all levers). And, as long as weather permits, we’ll also make stops at some stunning viewpoints.
Once in Whistler, you will have two hours to explore the village on your own and grab a bite before meeting back up with your guide.
We’ll then head up to cougar mountain base camp to experience the wonder that is Vallea Lumina (tickets included in price), “a pathway through an old-growth forest that will take visitors of all ages on a magical multimedia night walk in pursuit of hidden wonders, telling a story that unfolds in chapters along the way”.
Then begins the journey back to Vancouver.
