This full day, 300-kilometer (186 mile) round trip experience operates December-March. Your day starts with pickup at your Vancouver accommodation before heading north out of the city in one of our fully licenced spacious 4-wheel drive SUV’s, up the famous Sea-to-Sky Highway, renowned for its breathtaking beauty and views.

Breath in that fresh mountain air as you hike or snowshoe through six kilometers (return) of wonderous coniferous forests enjoying your connection with nature as you make your way to Cheakamus Lake or Brandywine Falls (depending on seasonal conditions).

At the turn point (lake or waterfall), you will enjoy chocolate fondue* paired with fresh fruit** and hot coco or Tea. There’s nothing like soaking up nature’s wintery wonderland with like-minded adventurers while enjoying some warm chocolaty treats.

Cheakamus and Brandywine are two of the most relaxed trails in the region. Well suited for those wanting to get outside while still taking it easy. This hike is also good for those who are active but have mild knee issues, since there is very minimal elevation gain.

After returning to the Vehicle, you will then head to Whistler Village to Explore the decorated wonderland that it is before returning to Vancouver.

This is a wonderful way to spend a day away from the city, but if you’d like even more trail options, check out the rest of our BC Winter Snowshoe Hikes and please get in touch if you have any questions. We’d love to hear from you!
