Hike – Cheakamus Lake

Because there is minimal elevation gain (under 300m) the Cheakamus Lake hike is less impactful on our precious joints. This makes it an ideal choice for those who want to embark on a more leisurely hike, or those with mild knee issues.

You will experience a feeling of calm whilst hiking to Cheakamus Lake – the area’s towering mountains around you and the lush forest and the beautiful turquoise of the lake. Simply beautiful.

No hiking experience is needed but a moderate fitness level is advisable. You should be able to walk up to 10kms (6.2 miles) without difficulty.
