Because there is very minimal elevation gain on the Cheakamus Lake hike, there’s less impact on our precious joints making it a perfect hike for those who want to embark on a more leisurely hike, or those with knee issues. 

You will experience beautiful views whilst hiking Cheakamus Lake – the beautiful turquoise lake surrounded by towering mountains and lush forest.

Cheakamus Lake Hike Itinerary

Pick-up Time:10 AM

  • Pick-up from Canada Place or your Accomodation
  • Drive up the scenic Sea-to-Sky Highyway to trailhead (approx. 105 mins)

Start Hike:11:45 AM

  • Hike at a leisure pace, with ample breaks along the way
  • Packed lunch at the Lake
  • Time to enjoy the scenery
  • Head back to car park
  • Reach vehicle around 3:45 PM
  • Drive back to Vancouver

Approx. Drop-off Time:5:30 PM
