Since she was a little girl, Annie has always been active, involved in multiple sports such as soccer, volleyball, dance, skiing. Her love for the outdoors started back in university. She met incredible people who introduced her to hiking and the endless possibility of outdoor activities. Annie’s love for the mountains grew furthermore when she got to work in Switzerland for three consecutive summers. Her spare time was always spent exploring the Alpine! She will never forget her multiday backpacking trips in the Alps and an amazing sea kayaking trip in Croatia. This job led her to guide groups of French teens doing summer camps in California and Hawaii. Leading all sorts of activities outside made Annie want to combine her passion for guiding and hiking. In 2019, she completed a certification in the Canadian Rockies to become a G-Adventures tour guide. With them, she facilitated a wide variety of outdoor activities, mainly hiking and canoeing. After that a hard work season, she rewarded herself and did a Manaslu Trek in Nepal. When Covid hit and she wasn’t able to work abroad, she decided to make the big move to the West Coast and be closer to the mountains. Annie has found Squamish to be a phenomenal playground to explore and is excited to share the region with people that are eager to discover it!
Her favorite quote is:
