Garibaldi Lake
Total Time: 9 hours | Price: $200

The Garibaldi Lake hike is one of our favorites! Particularly because of the view at Garibaldi Lake with its iridescent blue water, surrounded by snow capped mountains. Makes for exquisite photo ops! You can try to swim there too, but don't be surprised if you go it alone, it's COLD!!! Gorgeous views of scenic Mt. Garibaldi at 2678-meter elevation as well as Black Tusk. Food shelters are present for respite from rain or colder conditions while enjoying your well-deserved packed lunch. We will stop at a lookout of the Sea to Sky Valley, where gangs of chipmunks will beg for your attention.

Create a customized private overnight or multi day tour. From our base camp, you can choose to hike Black Tusk or hike Panorama Ridge on following days. You can hike up, camp by the lake and head back down the next day or you could expand this hike to add many other trails such as; Black Tusk or Panorama ridge for example. Contact us for details and pricing.

Cheakamus Lake
Total Time: 7.5 hours | Price: $200

One of the easiest hikes in Garibaldi Park. Well suited for those wanting to get out there, yet wanting to take it easy. It's also friendly for those with knee issues. Because there is very minimal elevation gain on the Cheakamus Lake hike, there's is less impact on our precious joints. You will experience beautiful views of the turquoise Cheakamus Lake surrounded by towering mountains and lush forest.

Cheakamus Lake Weather Forecast:

Elfin Lakes
Total Time: 11 hours | Price: $225

The Elfin Lakes hike will give you gorgeous views of Mt Garibaldi and Atwell Peak, which is actually a volcanic pinnacle! Not to mention breathtaking views of Howe Sound. You will meander through quiet forests leading to the serene alpine while enjoying views of endless mountains and valleys. This trail brings significant meaning to us as it was where we had our 'Ah-ha' moment that inspired the idea of BeWild!

Elfin Lakes (area) Weather Forecast:

Wedgemount Lake
Total Time: 14 hours | Price: $250

With more that 1100 meters of elevation gain within just 7km Wedgemount Lake is one of the most difficult hikes in Garibaldi Park.

That said, adventurers are always thankful they made the trip and are absolutely amazed at the sights they see of massive glaciers, turquoise lakes, and valley views. It is possible to walk around the edges of the glacier too. You will be proud to show off the photos you take of this area! If you're lucky, you may even meet a resident marmot. This trail ends at the gorgeous Wedgemount Lake surrounded by a massive glacier. There is also a small non-heated hut and tent pads for camping. This hike is only offered by us after the snow melt due to avalanche hazard.
